An international insurance group, ranked as the world's 80th-largest public company, needed lawyers in Slovakia to assist with IT contracts and GDPR matters. Zurich Insurance Company provides insurance products and services in more than 215 countries. Its Slovak branch, Zurich Bratislava, is a highly specialised competence centre employing actuarial specialists.
The client was looking for a law firm that would
- help it negotiate and structure software and other IT contracts with suppliers
- help it set up internal GDPR processes and documentation
- communicate in a human way and respond flexibly
Within the client's organisation, we work mainly with the in-house lawyer and compliance manager. To make working with us easy for her, we set up a simple workflow for delivering our outputs.
The client has a dedicated team of three lawyers from our digital team. They work on projects involving software contracts, GDPR matters and cybersecurity.
We work as an extension of the in-house lawyer. To shorten delivery times and minimise misunderstandings, the client always communicates directly with the lawyer working on the assignment. No account managers, regardless of seniority.
